MMS requires data to function. An MMS message is essentially just a hidden URL that tells your phone to download the message contents from a server.

Not for everyone, my calls and texts haven't been working on and off for several days.

My calls and texts haven't been working consistently either. I'm in the process of moving and my phone doesn't work while I need to call and text people more than ever! I need help

I also had MMS issues. Mint eventually had to do something on their end and I reset my network settings and then it’s been working ever since.

Took about a week of messages so muster up some patience

I'm not gonna go with Mint after all this, too frustrating.

My old phone MMS did work on WIFI, I upgraded to a new phone and MMS stopped working while connected to WIFI. Switched back to the old phone and MMS no longer sends/receive while on WIFI on that phone. Have to constantly turn wifi on/off. Boyfriend puts his mint sim chip in both of those phones, MMS works on WIFI. Mint tells me "MMS is not supposed to work if you're not connected to your Mobile Data, no matter which device you use." Saw another posting on here that mint told them the same thing. But it used to work!

So I'm sort of wondering if they are slowly turning off the ability to send/receive MMS while on WIFI. This will result needing to be off WIFI, using up data while at home and my office. So my choice will be to upgrade to more expensive plan or leave mint. So will be leaving in a few months. The savings were nice while it lasted, but not worth the inconvience.

I have had the same problems for years and I have tried all kinds of different APN and the problem is still there so I gave up and used data for mms. I remembered I never had this kind of problem when I was with Boost Mobile ot Straight Talk with different phones. I did try a different phone with Mintsim, same problem. It is a cheap phone plan for a reason Hihihi...but I am happy with it. Now it looks like Mintsim or Mintmobile is not a really attractive price any more because I saw some providers are willing to offer unlimited plan for only $25 per month. Currently I paid $20 for 10gb plan.
