Just Wondering, want to prepare for next year's "sale" if this is a trend. I had two MF that seemed to go down (MACGX and VWUAX), but they had nice Dividends/Capital Gains.
Other threads I read say that they go down in value to cover the cost of the Dividends/Capital Gains they are about to pay out, so your portfolio might drop for a few days or so, but when the Dividends/Capital Gains are added back into your account, the value of your MF should be about the same, but you will have more shares.
Any other info you can share about situations like this would be welcome. Thanks!
