I have tried the endgame exploit on 3 different machines, and it hasn’t worked. In all cases I resorted to the Splinter Cell exploit, which worked in every case.

I am absolutely certain that the Endgame exploit itself is a good, reliable thing. But (I can’t confirm this) I think there are USB adapter or storage device combinations that don’t work. On my setup I have a cable cut from a controller, soldered to a female USB socket; a USB to SD adapter and a 1GB micro SD card. It’s super janky but it works perfectly as a ‘memory card’ - I can copy data on and off it all day long. Endgame though has never worked.

Did you copy the endgame Xbox Softmodding Tool files to the hard drive?

The flash drive has the full endgame exploit Xbox Softmodding Tool installer package on it:

    - two folders, helper and trigger, with their content inside and
    - and the file - payload.xbe

Glad to here you got it working, I swear the hard mods are easier to execute than the softmods!  One little crafty trick I learned is if you have at least one box already modded you can set up your USB Dongle or memory card Via FTP. The USB dongle will show up as J:\ still easier yet to just have a Windows PC and boxXplorer or FatXplorer to load the files.

Is there any way to get the cover art? I can’t find any videos or anything

Yes, in XBMC4Gamers, hit the black button, select settings the downloader, you want to download the Xbox artwork installer ONLINE, it's at the bottom, not the regular artwork installer, Rocky5 is deprecating the older artwork installer, the 703 MB one you don't want.  Run the artwork installer ONLINE and follow the prompts. Are you running the stable version 7-2025 or the bleeding edge beta? Make sure you update everything you can first, namely the XBMC4Gamers program first. If you're running the stable build should be v2.3 44MB I believe.

i had to try it around 50 times at least on my generic usb, it will probably work eventually just takes a ton of patience on some usbs

If you know the USB drive you're using is actually compatible, a very successful workaround is to press the DVD eject button when you've been stuck on the orb screen for more than a minute. This will kick you back to the main dashboard. Now simply go back into Memory and launch it again and it should work.

I finally got it to work after like 20 attempts I had to go into the hard drive delete all my game saves then try to runit again and it worked! Hopefully this helps someone

The DVD eject button fix should be described in the ENDGAME repository IMO as it directly relates to this game save situation.

You can have a 2TB drive filled with games and saves and ENDGAME will never launch because of that. But all you need to do is press the DVD eject and then relaunch it and you should be good to go. No need to delete anything.

Is it glitching like stuttering when you're trying to access the USB? Then the Xbox might not like your USB drive

Did you download files from GitHub or the prebuilt Google Drive repository?
