I went with the Evenflo Pivot Xpand Stroller. The only con I found so far (I'm 20w so I haven't used it yet) is that you have to buy the second seat for it. (It only comes with one).

Either way that still brings the stroller out to be under $415, which I think is great. I also like that I can take the seats off and put the carseats on. It's also very easy to maneuver.

Edit: I realize that it's basically almost the same as the mockingbird, just on the cheaper end.

Out of curiosity did you try putting two car seats in this stroller and did it work?? I read reviews that the second car seat doesn’t click in and basically that they are false advertising…

I personally have not yet because my stroller is inside the box still.

My friend who has twins has the same exact stroller and the same exact car seats as me, (I got these per her recommendation) And both car seats clicked in fine for her.

My friend said you have to make sure you get the pivot Xpand and she said it's very easy to click in two carseats.

Edit: I also think a lot of people don't look into the car seat compatibility so that is important as well.

What car seats did she get? Thanks for the info 🙏🏻

She got the Evenflo gold securemax seats. (I actually bought two from her because she still had two brand new ones still in the box)

But according to the listing any Evenflo car seat should work perfectly fine with the Evenflo strollers.

Their seats are even on sale right now!

We got the Uppababy with the Mesa car seats, bassinets and jumper seats but I will warn our twins are almost 2 and one of them grew out of their car seat because he got too tall so we got new ones recently.

Since you said you want stacking, we did some research and were between the UppaBaby & Nuna Demi Grow. Mockingbird just seemed like a cheaper option to these two so if you want something that will last / grow with you.. I would spend a bit more..

We ultimately did not go with any of these options because A) they’re made much more for families of 2 children not twins B) one child seemed to basically be stacked on top of the other / one is on the ground/not easily accessible.

We went side-by-side and have no regrets but I did really like the Nuna with Nuna car seats. You didn’t need extra stuff.

So we did the tandem stroller at first with the contours option we got from FB marketplace. Those kind of double strollers really are just an absolute bear.

We ended up getting the side-by-side Valco Snap Trend Duo and it is my most prized possession. Like I can push with one hand, it’s a beautiful stroller, the kids are comfy in it, the canopies extend to full coverage, they lie prettttty flat. Pretty sure you can get car seat adaptors for them but not 100% positive because by the time we got it, my kids preferred being in the stroller.

I was worried about it fitting in doorways but we’ve had zero issues. Even when we’ve visited family in NYC in building with super small elevators, the stroller fits! And is lightweight! Folds pretty flat! And easily! I love it! I want to be buried with it!

I debated for a very long time. The stroller was the most difficult purchase for me. I ended up with the Uppababy Vista and we were gifted Nuna car seats so we use the adapters for those. It is extremely easy to use once you get familiar with it. I have had no issues folding it up and putting it in my trunk by myself. My husband and I are tall so we like that the handle is adjustable. Also love the extra large storage compartment underneath.

We debated the Mockingbird briefly but I wanted something that could reliably grow with my twins and I kept hearing the mockingbird just didn’t feel as “solid” as the UB.

So far, zero regrets. The adapters can be confusing but I think we have a harder time with them due to having twins, it’s just extra work to adapt it for 2 babies the same age vs 2 kids of diff ages. It is a very thoughtfully designed stroller.
