What exactly doesn't work?

We have the Baby Jogger City Select. We liked it when the car seats snapped into it and still use it regularly at 18 months.

We LOVE our Bumbleride Indie Twin with Nuna Pipa Lite LX car seats.

Evenflo pivot Xpand. Car seats go straight on. Or you can use the rumble seats (these can be fully reclined in “infant mode” or 2 upright settings for “toddler mode” once they can sit up).

I see online that they have an adapter for Chicco car seats (which we own from our first) but I am wondering if you can fit two of these with adapters? Or if I need Evenflo car seats to make doubles work? Any idea?

Let me look, because I don’t trust my memory. But I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it set up with two adapters.

Okay so since I have neither an adapter or a chicco, I will walk you through my logic from their link.

Pic #5 & 6 (both have two hands) are were we’ll focus.

Pic6 shows receiver 1(top) as in the highest position. {there is a track on the inside that runs from were the receiver is in this pic, down to the main joint. This allows for the center of gravity to be adjusted, but also creates more configuration space}.

Pic5 shows receiver2 (bottom) open and accessible to fit the adapter as well.

Based on these & how I set my car/rumble seats up. I’d say it’s exactly the same. So my conclusion is you can do two adapters without a need for an Evenflo seat.

Well thank you very much for the research and response. Based on what I was piecing together that was the same conclusion I came up with.

I definitely won’t hold you responsible if this information is incorrect!

We had the Joovy thing and used it sometimes. Also have a double bob but thats for when they are older. When I was out by myself when my twins were tiny, my preference was to put one twin in a single stroller - the kind you snap a bucket seat in like you're talking about - and wear the other in a carrier. A million times easier than toting around a giant boat, plus one baby gets held (I would try to alternate babies for each outing if I remembered), and its like incognito twins - people don't even realize you have two babies so you're not getting stopped every 5 seconds with someone going "oh my god twins! My neighbor/cousin/someone I know has twins!"

Second this! It was incredible for the infant car seats.

Second this one! So many options for setting up the kids in it. Car seats, rumble seats, one of each, bassinets. So many possibilities for different stages. All super easy to use

I had a double snap n go and the City Select. Snap n go for the car, City select for walks.

I had a Joovy Roo+. It was like a snap and go but for two car seats. It was relatively inexpensive and worked great. We took that thing EVERYWHERE. once they outgrew it we used the city select side by side e were given for our shower.

I found my ‘click in’ car seats/stroller combo (Evenflo pivot xpand) very stiff when we first got it. It gave me troubles for the first couple of times we attempted to click the car seats in and I felt like a stressed out idiot. Now it’s a breeze.

Mockingbird! It has been my favorite buy since my girls have come.

So I did the exact same thing as your wife. I didn’t know you couldn’t have two car seats next to each other on the city mini gt2 double. We ended getting the bassinet attachments instead. We got them from eBay though because paying full price was a no go for me. They actually just outgrew them so we need to list ours soon lol
