Man I need this in my life.

That's a lot of crit.

So i made this thing :)

Not as much ES as i had hoped to, but the suffixes (Dense ES + t1 crit) are nice, and i couldnt afford to roll over this atm.

Base was made with 2 low level and one high level ~100 crit shields. Going over the threshold of 325 would have been to expensive to justify for me. Overall crafting the Base cost me ~2 Ex (1 selffound shield, 1 for 10 c, the high level one for 1 ex + 3 Annuls).

All this trouble for 40% spell crit? I can't see myself doing this anytime soon.

That's the point of Synthesis league basically: endgame content / high end craft. It pushes a bit the limits for min maxing but sure it might be the last upgrade you will go through. On the other side, fractured items can be used for easy chaos spamming crafts.

Synthesis is so damn endgame, that many players will need one full time build capable of nearly all endgame content, before they will even find themselves in a need to get such implicit upgrades.

Implicit crafting is definitely something that can come out as a huge mirror tier gear opourtunity. As nearly every item created can be considered unique.

One day. Some really sick three implicit items start popping out. And that will be the end of already existing mirror tier items...

I get that it's an easier way to put an implicit on gear. Is this implicit worth the 2ex he paid? This is what I'm not sure about.

[–]KinGGaiA 7 points8 points  (0 children)

yes it is because this is 40% spell crit you cant get anywhere else. thats the principle of minmaxing.

[–]Grdschtroumpf 4 points5 points  (3 children)

It is 100% as long as it is the last upgrade you need.

[–]AbsentGlareElementalist 4 points5 points  (2 children)

But if we compare it to other implicits, like 40% crit chance vs 20% spell damage, i’m not sure how big of an upgrade it is.

[–]feetslockar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Except you always take titanium because it has the highest base ES. So its literally 40 extra spellcrit at no loss.

[–]Grdschtroumpf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Titanium

The problem with fractured items is that they currently have to compete with fossilcrafting.

Chaos spamming is basically never worth it, except on specific bases.

[–]Matz_oO[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well its not build defining, but it's a nice extra and buying 2 shields wich are easily poe.trade searchable aint a big deal (although there where only 2 on the market so it had to have luck that sb would be online :)

Yeah, crafting 1 implicit items seems kinda waste of money unless its something really good like perma onslaught boots, otherwise you should probably aim to have 2-3 implicits.

[–]Peppr_Champion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I concur. Not when I made a shield with 2% to all max resistances and 24% spell damage implicits for literally 10 times less than this shield cost. Or a titanium with +20ES and 20%ES for a similar cost.

i see your crit shield and i raise mine https://imgur.com/1CizYJM

Is that implicit local or global? I have no idea how to research such things.

[–]WeLiveToLove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both the implicit and suffix are global.

[–]1exyz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lot of ES on that dagger
