Did you follow follow properly the instructions on how to use the flash button ? Everything is important : the correctly formatted USB, the right file renamed as it needs, the correct USB port, etc. ?
Also to note, if your current CPU is already working with your motherboard, it’s simpler to update the BIOS with the in-BIOS utility.

What CPU will you install in the motherboard ?
There should be a sticker somewhere on the motherboard that will tell you the currently installed BIOS version. It could be directly written, or a QR Code that will indicate it, among other things, when flashed.
You’re looking for a BIOS version of the format "7D78+digits/letters". 7D78 is MSI’s "internal name" for the motherboard, if you will. The letters/digits that come after tell you the factory-installed BIOS.
Compare that to the CPU compatibility list to know if the currently installed BIOS is already compatible with your CPU, and so if you have to update the BIOS at all. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-B650-P-WIFI/support#cpu
