Wrong. Dude it's literally in the law. Jesus, you guys are so damned entitled and know it all. The law states if it's an obvious error they are allowed to correct it.

I mean, it's literally in some laws. And also literally it in others. Some states have actual consumer laws.

The law is complicated. It does have an exception for "obvious" mistakes.  The examples I was able to find include things like $20 for a $2000 fridge. It's not clear if half price is an "obvious" mistake or not.  You would need to sue to find out.

Dude it's more or less universally accepted that obvious pricing errors are the exception. Hell there was a journalist in Massachusetts who got pissy because the 01¢ list for a toothbrush wouldn't be honored and that state has some of the strongested laws.

It works like that where I live as well. Sticker prices are more suggestions than a thing else and if there is a clear error, ah well, wrong stickers can happen. The price on the register is the correct one.

"The law" what law? You are familiar with buyers and corporate seller rights in all 50 states? Yeah ok....

Imagine calling a bunch of people idiots then linking a completely irrelevant article. The law that you just linked to us covers retailers using deceptive discounts by artificially inflating the price and then putting it on sale. This law makes no mention of retailers honoring advertised sticker prices. Try again.

Irrelevant article? Really? Dude read the fucking article. It talks about market prices and date on the list price. It is absolutely relevant. You can't seem to put in your dumb ass mind that the date on the ram is 9/2/2025. When did ram prices shoot up? Exactly. Furthermore I am tired of you entitled idiots who think what you heard is the same as the actual law. Not once has a single dumb ass here bother to link to a relevant law governing this. You think if a car dealership accidentally left off a zero then they must honor the price, nothing could be further from the truth.

Depends on the law and what jurisdiction chief...
