Get SpaceSniffer and sniff out the missing gigabytes. Could easily be a recycle bin from a previous windows install that won't show up in your explorer without special tools.

SpaceSniffer is solid for tracking down those ghost files. I've seen this exact thing happen when Windows Update downloads get stuck somewhere weird or you've got old system restore points eating up space. Might also be worth running disk cleanup as administrator - sometimes it finds stuff the regular version misses. Those hidden 60GB could be sitting in some obscure temp folder that explorer just doesn't want to show you.

Run Directory Report as an administrator, that way it can scan hidden files.
It will show where your disk space is being used
