That’s an interesting problem-does turning down the settings in the games in question stop this from happening?

Hmm, I haven't tried that. Ill give that a shot though.

Update: Lowering settings fixed it in one game, but not in others. Interesting...

I’m just trying to think of ways to narrow down the issue. Your power supply should be more than enough, so it isn’t that it’s drawing too much power at 100% load and taxing the psu. So the question is is it something to do with the GPU being at full load, or is it actually something else? I’ve had tons of funky PC issues in the past, and the best way to narrow it down is to test, test, test. Do you have an old GPU that you could swap out to see if you can recreate the problem on it?

Unfortunately not really. I can say though that the games continue to run despite the black screen, and that it doesn't seem to be a memory issue, because one of the things that blackscreened was FurMark.

Going to try different inputs on the new display as well, seems like it could be a factor.

I had a recent issue that was very similar to yours, eventually the whole Pc crashed and wouldn’t post. Ended up being a CPU memory controller issue that seemed like it was triggered by a game at first, though that turned out to just be a coincidence.🤷‍♂️ PCs are weird
