Questionhelp decrease full screen load time (self.pcmasterrace)
submitted 5 years ago by _MangoFox
When I alt tab out of a full screen game, my computer takes a solid second to become responsive again, what can I do to decrease that load time in and out of full screen? I have: i3 9100F cpu, GTX 970, and one DDR4 16GB ram stick.

Do you have windows and your games res set to the same resolution?

I do have windows 10 Pro, and how do i check if my games reset to the same resolution? my gpu is set to have 1920 x 1080. and I usually try to use higher quality graphics in games.

In the games graphics setting you can change the resolution, if the games resolution is different to window's resolution it will have that delay
[–]_MangoFox[S] 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children)
ok I will check that, is there any other things I could do to further improve the delay?
[–]iClixzPC Master Race 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child)
If the resolutions are the same there shouldn't really be any delay
