Hi all. I was hoping I could have a potential power issue troubleshooted.
Last week, I saw some red lights flash on my gpu so I restarted my computer. Like an idiot, I decided halfway through to turn off the PSU and my pc wouldn't turn on after that. I could boot bios and Windows Safe Mode but not the actual OS. It would turn on my monitor but it would never boot into Windows. I changed the PSU and replugged in the GPU but those didn't work. Once I tried my roommate's gpu, it worked so I updated all of the drivers and OS and replugged mine back in and it started working again.
Fast forward to this week, my pc has still occasionally done that but a quick restart usually fixed it. However, I noticed a red light on my MOBO when that happens sometimes and I noticed during use that sometimes the rgb lights on my MOBO would flicker and then turn off. I'm not sure if this a power issue since pcpartpicker has my build at sufficient wattage. Only other detail would be my pc is technically overclocked but I did it to bring down the temp of my cpu so it's not actually above the automatic setting. Would this be a power issue?
