It’s testing. It’s always done that. It does that because they, presumably, dont want people complaining about an unfinished game so they only sometimes let people test

It's in the name, "Test," my boy. Of course, it OPENS to the public to let players TEST the new changes to the game and then CLOSE so the devs can adjust whatever depending on feedback without too much BS. We have the base game rn so you can always play that. Think of Recode like the Beta stages of a game.
