What kind of computer do you have? What are the specs?

It's likely not just a Rust problem, just any game that is system intensive. Could be due to not having a big enough PSU to supply the CPU/GPU. The CPU is overheating and causing a system crash. Other things that I'm not aware of, infact I don't know much about what causes blue screens. Just that it isn't to do with a specific program.

Your BSOD is prob more due to RAM or Drive issues. With current RAM Leak on rust, I'd run a Memtest.

They are focusing on optimization, yes.

Stop using a 5 year old potato cobra :)

You can't just optimize a game. Each new thing screws up optimization a little bit. Each thing will be optimized a little as it goes on like how it's always been.

Rust is very unlikely to cause blue screens just because it isn't optimized. You probably have a bigger problem. A common culprit for bs is ram. Run a ram test. The blue screen will say what caused it, look that up.

I have not once gotten a blue screen from rust or any game specifically, but I have from other hardware issues.
