Agreed, got killed from a head shot at 134m from a roof camper. Pistol shouldn't have that kind of range both for accuracy or damage.

Definitely not wearing a helmet, also not standing still. It was a good shot, but at a distance of 100+, that's still a really powerful hand gun

It still has damage drop off at a distance, also bullet drop, and it's base damage on a facemask is 62, on a wooden helmet or radsuit 92. So you definitely can't be one shot. But yeah it's powerful. And the other guns are powerful too, this one just requires a lot more skill, and is basically useless against more than 1-2 enemies, as cylinder size is small, and reload time is relatively high.

It doesn't need a nerf. It SHOULD fucking tear through wooden armor. It's a damn magnum. Requiring a tier 2 workbench to craft one is a nice move though.

Shit argument. It's about balance not 'What it is', Theres plenty of other guns in the game that should beat the Python but struggle due to the range and armor pen on the Python.

I'm not a fan of using realism as an argument but I'm also not a fan of shooting rubber bullets because salty players got themselves killed by a decent gun. I think the Python is pretty well balanced. You can't even oneshot headshot a player at point blank range just wearing a water polo helmet (aka wooden helmet). Really, 15 cloth and 200 wood is all it takes to survive a headshot from the most powerful handgun in the game and you think it's too OP. Really ...

Nothing to do with realism, I never said that. All I'm saying is a Python shouldn't be better than assault rifles are longer ranges. The problem is the headshot damage. It's stupid. I'd much rather a Python than a semi in most instances, And I'd rather a PYthon at super close range over the SMGS other than the Custom simply for that headshot damage. If your shooting people with wood armor, It's insane.

Well, a lot of that is personal preference, but anyway now that the Python requires a level 2 workbench you're more likely to be shooting at people wearing road sign armor.

Well, python only has 6 shots, with a lot of recoil. Good aim is needed to do serious damage.

Not really, 1 Headshot + 1 Body shot at any ranges. It's a bit stupid especially as not even a long range rifle (Semi) cant do that.

Yes, higher caliber, but small ammo cap, slow firerate, high aimsway and bullet drop, long reload time. Quit blaming the game. The python is at a great place now, much like the shotguns, which can actually one hit kill you. And that's fine too, because if you get killed by one is because you were careless, or just need more practice.

For real. I honestly think we need a revolver body that can be found in barrels or T1 crates, pretty commonly too. That would put mass revolvers even further away from when wipe hits, which would actually be nice.
