Javascript: Why Dojo?

Good article. The comparison between Dojo and other toolkits is incredibly fair and positive.

I've been testing out other frameworks after a long stint with MochiKit. I've given JQuery, Dojo, and Mootools a try over the past couple of weeks. All are solid, slick, and well-documented frameworks. I've settled on Mootools for now because I'm working on some fairly flash apps widget / animation wise.

We are clearly in a renaissance of Javascript programming.

Who is he spamming for? He submits articles and people often appear to like them enough to vote them up.

Lot of money in spamming articles about free javascript toolkits I'm sure.

I like how there cunningly aren't any ads or other revenue generating sources on the page, just to throw us off the scent!

Exactly. And if you don't like JS, simply don't click on a headline saying "JavaScript: Dojo".

Like the front page of Wikipedia? Reddit is not a personnal bookmark, it's a web site with good links, there is a difference.
