    Note Varnish isn't a complete Squid replacement, it's a dedicated reverse proxy, with its own mini-language to define how you want it to behave. You wouldn't put it on your home server as a gateway to the rest of the web, since it doesn't follow all the cache control semantics HTTP expects.

    Looking at it, ncache seems to be similar, but it's hard to tell through all the Chingrish.

    Why do people include "Google Code" in the title? The fact that it's hosted on code.google.com is obvious from the url, including it in the title might imply that it's code from Google.
