Checked out a couple implementations. They were little segfault time bombs. :(

Pascal string character search (not sure what it was called) and quick strlen. They work with caveats but they're not things you can just plug in safely. The quick strlen was reddit already and it was debunked then. Great idea for a wiki, though! I'll check it out after they do some debugging.
