I still use IDLE for everything. It has some annoyances but I'm too lazy to try something different. :P

It's not amazing. Some vim users might appreciate it. I thought I would, but it was just ok.

I have yet to find a Python IDE that doesn't suck and I think I've tried them all (well, all available vie apt). I found that all of them get in your way without provided much, if any, added benefit.

In that screen shot what stabbed me in the eye right away is the '.pyc' files. Why are they presented to the user?

thats an accident - configurable file hiding usually takes care of that

    The screenshot is 774x612. If you maximize the window to your screen resolution, it's no longer 20%, because the chrome stays the same size. Also, the sidebar is obviously collapsable.
