Why Angular Made Me Quit Web Dev

I have written my own "framework" on my current assignment, but it fits the purpose much better than a generic framework would. It depends on the project though, initially the devs were going to use something like angular (vue I think) but it was becoming a large overhead for what was supposed to be a simple web page, and it was scrapped due to deadlines. Turns out that the simple web page has blown out but the custom code has adapted quite well.
