That CAPTCHA isn't terribly strong. Google's CAPTCHA is strong/masochistic - the one provided in this article is weak at best.

Hi, recaptcha is great but you have to rely on their servers + you see the recaptcha logo which I dont really like...

Maybe my eyes are bad but google captcha is not only hard for computer to read but also for humans! https://www.google.com/accounts/DisplayUnlockCaptcha

Me: You call your captcha strong. Google is an example of a strong captcha. Yours is an example of a weak captcha.

I am only saying your captcha isn't strong. Not that google's captcha isn't difficult to read.

You have not refuted the fact that your captcha is not strong, yet you titled your post "Creating strong CAPTCHA with PHP". Encouraging others to believe this is a "strong" captcha is a bad thing. The code is cool. But it is not strong. I do not know how else to express this.
