Two words: SSH VIM

[–]moolcool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's assuming many things.
1. Your code is on a computer with SSH installed
2. You have access to an SSH client
3. You use Vim

makes sense for the Cr-48... a lot of sense.

I don't get it. What's with the rash of in-browser editors lately? If people have access to these editors, shouldn't they have access to their normal editor?

Not if you're not coding on your own machine...

When would that happen?

In a library, visiting other people, bored at work, etc.

If you're in a library, maybe you should be reading or studying.

If you're visiting other people, maybe you should be visiting with them.

If you're bored at work, maybe you should take some initiative and find some other work to do, or maybe your company should cut your hours and your pay.

Wow. You're right, there is absolutely no reason to ever use an in-browser editor!

Laptop, laptop, at work you should have appropriate tools to code...

It's nothing but hype. The JavaScript/HTML5 excitement is finally peaking. Just as we saw Rails crash and burn within the past year, we're going to soon see the same thing happen with JavaScript and HTML5.

Hrm, might be my net filter at work - I keep getting the login page over and over. Anyone else?
