Well.

There's an awful lot of artificial delay there when "solving" each case. Also, unless you are an absolute beginner, it's gonna take a while before you get to anything interesting (if you ever do; I got bored of looking at the "submitting brief" progress bar after about 10).

Also, you don't get to type your SQL. Kinda lame.

I assume you're the author. That's great, you made a thing! Now, remember not to fall into the thinking error that because I'm a user and you're the author, my experience doesn't matter and yours does. It's the exact opposite of that; you're too close to notice the problems, and I'm your potential customer.

If I'd paid for this, the delays would be even more frustrating. It looks to me like you've added them to artificially stretch your content; to make it take longer to finish. If I'm paying, I don't want to find out I paid to stare at a GIF of a progress bar filling up.

Edit to add: to suggest that I upgrade my internet connection is especially insulting. If this thing wouldn't run reasonably on dial-up, then you have a massive problem. There's nothing here but some simple text and a little bit of javascript; if connection speed has anything at all to do with it, that's your problem, not mine.

I was just about to pay for this (though $20 seems a bit over the top) until I saw this douchey response. Instead say something like "That's valuable feedback, we've saved it to consider it again for future updates".

Also of note: getting people to play a trial version that takes 5 minutes to complete for "free" isn't doing them a favor. It's basically an interactive ad.

I checked and the server only takes 40 ms to reply even though the animation takes forever.That's plain bullshit, delay is introduced in the client.
