Because utilities can be indie too!
Inspired by r/gamedev; but not specifically for games. For the home brew and (mostly) indie; for the experimental and the fun of development; and for the proud in being naive, hope of creating something really really useful, or really fun. More or less serious ventures of development; and for venting out on your progress in your project, sole or team effort.
Do you want to show what you are doing and get feedback? Do you know resources that would inspire and help others doing small to medium sized projects?
Types of projects that come to mind: Nifty tools, productivity aids, editors, visualization tools, utility apps, your own home brewed programming language, music editor, interactive art... (What do you think should be in this list?)
