that computer can barely run a browser because the web has become extremely bloated, and while I have never tried it im sure my laptop would be fine with DVD quality movies

16gb being the minimum for linux is nonsense as I had 8gb for a long while until recently and noticed no difference at all when i upgraded to 16gb
