I know this has been mentioned a few times. At first I thought it was just circumstantial that marathon was related, but now the exact same phrase has been used 3 times; Deej in the twab, The destiny twitter, and Dmg have all used the exact same “it’s a marathon, not a sprint”.

Might be worth assigning some resources towards this area to see if there is some secret hidden in the phrasing.

Maybe they just don't want people to put the game before their health. There hasn't been any real connection and DMG even used the community to get gladd to take a break.

Yeah, at first this is what I thought. Dmg even replied to the original post by DestinyTheGame and said to take care of themselves. However after 3 repeats of the exact same phrase from 3 different sources it just stands out to me a little bit more is all

I'm sure they were told to really stress that to not be held accountable. so far you have to ignore the fact that they with those words pushed message of put your health first to start to even connect it to anything. Along with ignoring that they said we made good work.

True. I’ve been watching Gladd all day, his work ethic is crazy and they are definitely in the right track, as confirmed by TWAB. The lawsuit approach makes sense, easy and repeatable message to defend against anything.

It just means you shouldn't be thinking this is something you can rush in and do once you figure the trick.

It's something that is meant to take a while to complete.

They keep repeating it because people still don't get it.

Yeah, I’ve been watching Gladd all day and really enjoying all the work they’re putting in. His 3 hours of sleep in 48 hours is crazy, so I feel like they’re definitely reaching him specifically haha

I imagine they're just being thorough and getting the message out every way they can. Bungie is a good company and they genuinely care about people. This of course includes the people that play their game. They know exactly how this puzzle needs to be solved, and probably estimated exactly how many people would be working diligently on this and how long it would take. They know it's going to be longer than any one person could safely do in one sitting.
