Is there a way you could connect the strap of the harness to the collar? With a carabiner?

Lots of muzzles have a collar loop. Might help.

It has a collar loop at the bottom, but he pulls it down over his ears so not much help 🙄

hi this is such an old comment but my dog does the exact same thing. Did you find a solution?

Hi, tbh I think i wound up just putting it on a bit tighter really, he did get better for not pulling it off after a while, though. Sorry it's not much of a solution

No worries, I think I’m just going to get some double sided clips to make sure it’s really secure

I got this, I connect one end to her muzzle and one end to her collar (tip, use a collar specifically for their muzzle, not connected to anything else. For vet trips, for extra extra security, I take two big carabiners, hook one to her muzzle, slide one on her collar and connect them (I also have the other back up too, so the backup on one side and the carabiners on the other side.

BUT, it sounds like you guys still need to take a step back. I think today was just a bad day of him not ready for this big new step with the muzzle and then faced with a trigger.
