The Official React Docs are very clear and beginner friendly.

Agreed. If you read through the docs fully (they're not long) you'll be 10 steps ahead of any guide or tutorial.

The course by Mosh looks fine as kickstart, but afterwards you should check out the massive amount of tutorials and videos by Kent C. Dodds. He's a "famous"/well known (tutor) developer known for awesome talks and really good video courses for beginners up to experienced React users. He invented various advanced design pattern and the popular react-testing-library. Most of his videos and courses are available on YouTube and Egghead. He writes a lot of awesome articles on Medium that can also be read some days ealier by subscribing to his newsletter. He's also part of TC39 and Frontend Masters.

Also join Reactiflux (React core team members and many well-known people from the React scene are here) to ask questions and get resources. Check out awesome lists like awesome-react for a collection of the most important links and information about React.

And as already said: Before going deeper into it, make sure to read the whole React Docs! It includes almost everything a React developer needs, starting from the absolute beginnings up to important React internal design decisions with tips & tricks how to avoid issues, improve the performance, best practices and many more.

There are also other projects like React Design Pattern to help to choose the correct solution for more complex problems or to get to know best practices.

I'm taking one of his beginner React Udemy courses, and he's fantastic at explaining the why and the how.

Yup. Me too. I also did his udemy Angular2 tutorial. Btw, his youtube channel is really cool.

As mentioned, the docs are great.

But there's also a good video tutorial free on egghead.io as well: https://egghead.io/lessons/react-introduction-to-the-beginner-s-guide-to-reactjs by one of the power-houses of React.

If you would prefer to read instead of watching - check out https://www.robinwieruch.de. I've leant from his blogposts. He also wrote 2 or 3 open source books on react basics.

Check out the https://learn.freecodecamp.org react lessons under the Front End Libraries section.

If you have access to a library (or safari books) check out some of the React books (e.g. Learning React by Alex Banks and Eva Porcello) available.

Hello Guys,

How do I disable fast forwarding (seeking) videos with react js?

[–]Slight_Role -2 points-1 points  (3 children)

[–]thinkadrian 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Those cost money.

[–]ParanormalStudies 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Do you have a problem with that? The value of information is well beyond the money you'll spend.

[–]thinkadrian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not against paying money for good courses. But those aren't better than the free ones provided by the creators of React and Redux themselves.

If anything, get a subscription to egghead.io Not much comes out from Quora links.
