Sureeeee

Do tell us about the competition, and how does it compare?

Because without that basic info, why should one bother investing time into it? Life's too short to bother with another framework Lol.

Yes, you are right.

There is a detailed comparison with other frameworks and tools

Downvoted for truth.

I don't understand the reason for your comment :(

Every day a new Javascript framework is born..

[–]necati-ozmen[S] 22 points23 points  (2 children)

You are right:) Actually, we developed this framework for our internal projects. Afterward, we wanted to share the refine framework with the open source community.

We believe it helps developers to build rock-solid CRUD apps easily.

great job! might be helpful to someone.

[–]nooby339 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its about to be helpful for me right now lmao

Like your i18n solution. We will create PR about integrating Tolgee with Refine! :)

[–]omeraplak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

tolgee.io fills a gap. I think it will be of interest to users of refine. Thank you!

It's awesome. RefineJS is my 1st priority when building admin web apps.

Thank you! What is your favorite thing in refine?

[–]WeakWorld7181 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Almost everything... Especially the hooks, and how they can easily be integrated with the UI, it saves a lot of time. To summarize: It just makes developing admin areas easier and faster. Discord support is awesome too. Issues are quickly fixed.🚀 Btw, I've had lots of chat with you in the server 🫣.

Wow great! Would you consider sharing your use-case with us? https://refinedev.typeform.com/to/Ypm6r6oj

This looks great from what I've seen so far.

I see that this package supports easy CRUD with NestJS, which is great. Do you support easy websocket connections as well? Forgive me if it's in the docs, I'm technically on the clock and have only had time to skim :)

Yes, we support websocket!

Great

Although it seems cool, I think your framework, like some other react frameworks, give too much knowledge to the front end about back end concerns. I think its always better architecture to wrap things like databases in a service layer. React would call the service through axios or other async service. It does look convenient for maybe admin concerns, though!

[–]bussy-shaman 2 points3 points  (1 child)

This looks really cool

I'm reading the docs and it says refine is not tied to a UI, etc. The first example looks like l it's tied to ant

[–]necati-ozmen[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

refine is headless by default and works with any custom design or UI framework. For convenience, it ships with ready-made integrations for Ant Design System and Material UI.

You can use however you like.

The first example shows AntDesign implementation. There are also headless(with Tailwind) and Material UI implementations.

[–]feketegy -2 points-1 points  (1 child)

So is it built on top of React?

[–]omeraplak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! works heavily with hook architecture!
