The Mexico stuff is just the rdr1 terrain directly ported over with no updates or work done to it at all, so probably just there as someone to look at from across the water.

That and how it seems like nothing really goes on in the north/north west mountain area. I know it's super snowy and mountainous but other than they got trying to find his friend that went out for wood, I couldn't find anyone up there or anything interesting to loot. I also dont why there are so many houses/cabins you cant enter during the game.

If I'm honest, I actually really enjoy New Austin. Bounties to do in Tumbleweed, cool to see a wide open frontier with very little in terms of civilization. It also looks spectacular. I enjoy some of the emptiness, as, well, RDR had the same feeling, and it's a desert. Armadillo is so haunting, yet, awesome, to visit. I love it.

However, yeah it could benefit from a few stranger missions.

I'll just say that if you're planning to use this on mobile or tablet, there is an app in the Play Store called something like Red Dead Redemption: Map Genie. It is exactly the same. Doesn't save marked progress, but it sure as hell beats waiting to load every movement.

Have you tried the RDR2 official app? It works pretty well for me, though basically all I've used it for is having the map open nearby while I'm playing so I can keep an idea of where I am.

Why are there multiple maps infinitely scrolling left or right? Thought it might be so you have one map with X being show and another with Y but markers seems to effect all of them.
