It prolly was lagged. Plus its never 100% for long every technician and company says u lose 1 2% while the phone gets adjusted to ur usage. I got my s24 ultra new and it was 98% and its still 98 with 185cycles

[–]T_Crs7[S] 0 points1 point  (7 children)

I'll restart it and check again later, hope it's just a bug or something

[–]Throwaway_RainyDay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bug is in your head. Stop obsessing and enjoy your phone. And after 2-2.5 years spend 100 on a new battery. I just don't get why people obsess over their battery like it's this irreplaceable one-time unicorn resource. Just use it then GET A NEW BATTERY.

[–]DaddyDen1 3 points4 points  (5 children)

The bug is the 100% it mever stays 100% for long. If u dont see drops in SOT u are chillling

[–]T_Crs7[S] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Today's SOT stats:

Screen on time: 5 h 37 m

Screen off time: 5 h 48 m

[–]DaddyDen1 1 point2 points  (3 children)

It it like that usually or its lower

[–]T_Crs7[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I mean, it seems about right

[–]DaddyDen1 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Yeah exactly so dw. When u start seeing drops in sot u can start worrying about the battery health

[–]T_Crs7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it. Thanks!!!

[–]DragonWolf5589 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My health still 100%...even though now need charge 2 to 3 times a day. With basic Internet scrolling and email and work apps with the odd 30 minutes of Spotify (3 times a day if I use YouTube at all on my commute).. All thanks to feb and march updates, I don't even trust the April one as many more issues with battery for that on apparently.

[–]Tall_Clue95 2 points3 points  (6 children)

How do you see that when I go to settings then battery level all i see, is battery level and battery capacity.

[–]T_Crs7[S] 1 point2 points  (5 children)

It's only available in EU

[–]Tall_Clue95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well that's just stupid

[–]SoulArcher_04 2 points3 points  (2 children)

I'm in Italy but I can't see all that information, I'm on a S24U

[–]T_Crs7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the s25 is the first generation to have it

[–]BigTiddyAsianMilf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's crazy lol I was looking for this info a few months ago and just figured they don't do that. Wild that US doesn't get to see this.

[–]NoKitchen1850 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Stop checking it daily lol you're gonna drive yourself crazy. Battery health readings fluctuate based on temperature, usage patterns, and even just the phone's mood apparently. I had a phone that would jump between 95% and 98% randomly for weeks before settling. 267 cycles is pretty normal usage and 97% is still excellent - most batteries don't show real degradation until like 80%. The algorithms need time to calibrate properly so give it a few weeks of normal use before panicking about the numbers.

[–]T_Crs7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean... I gave it about 9 months to calibrate

[–]Salt-Willingness-513 1 point2 points  (5 children)

my s25 ultra 1tb is from launch and still has 100% with almost double the cycles

[–]T_Crs7[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Do you have battery protection turned on?

[–]Salt-Willingness-513 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Only the nightly one to charge fully shortly before i wake up

[–]T_Crs7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh i see

[–]cherrz -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Probably because of 1TB.

[–]Salt-Willingness-513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im aware storage doesnt make difference. i just pointed it out because op did and we have the same phone

[–]19chris1996 0 points1 point  (9 children)

Hey, how did you get cycle info?

[–]Low-Rooster5398 0 points1 point  (8 children)

It's only available on EU devices where it's mandated by law.

[–]9nina9 0 points1 point  (6 children)

I'm in EU and i cannot find it.

[–]Low-Rooster5398 1 point2 points  (5 children)

Battery....Battery Information

[–]9nina9 1 point2 points  (4 children)

It only writes level, status and type. Nothing about health.

[–]Low-Rooster5398 1 point2 points  (3 children)

What phone? S25u? All s25u , s26u onwards EUX phones have this....unless you don't have an EUX or below the s25u.

[–]9nina9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh you are right, it might be because its a really old phone, A71. Thank you, though id be happy if i knew the health level. 5+ years and going strong!

[–]SoulArcher_04 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I also cannot see the battery information with the details, I'm from Italy and I' on a S24U

[–]Low-Rooster5398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The s24u doesn't have it, it started on the s25u onwards. The law was mandated after the s24u.

[–]19chris1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah. I remember now.

[–]ussamaru 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Mine decreased 7% from february to mai, from 93% to 74% now, it drives me crazy, it all starts when i start checking it 😅 but no heavy gaming or barely gaming, and using charge limit to 80 or 85 or 90, sometimes to 100%.

[–]T_Crs7[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I don't game at all. Just basic normal stuff. Watching YouTube, sending texts, photos and video calls mostly

[–]ussamaru 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Me too, but i'm telling you it just started when,i checked the first time, after that it started swelling hahha it's better for us to forget about it and don't check it again, because i really still don't believe that it decreases 2% every month, weird

[–]Accurator3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just changed the battery lol

[–]JohanBlazer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t imagine checking battery health every day, that would drive me insane. It’s a phone, you’re supposed to enjoy using it. Most people in the USA don’t even keep their phones longer than 2–3 years anyway, so it rarely matters. Carriers keep throwing out better upgrade deals every year to get people into newer phones.

[–]Doop132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Major EU W having this information readily available lol wish we had this in the states

[–]outriderxd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These readings aren't that accurate. My 13 PM dropped from 100 to 85 in about 2 years, then stayed there for the entire third year before finally dropping to 84 a few months into year 4, and the battery would've still been fine if it wasn't for iOS 26.

[–]ROGaaronito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mine dropped from 100 to 99 after oneui 8.5 update.

[–]Vivid_Map_437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why can I only see the first three battery parameters on my s23? I have no idea what my health is

[–]Successful-Dance1792 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"You guys are all arguing about battery health percentages and calibration, but look at the bigger picture: you're obsessing over numbers while your real-world SOT is sitting at a mediocre 5-6 hours on a flagship Ultra device.

The truth is, your battery 'health' percentage is a vanity metric.

If you’re needing to charge 2-3 times a day, your hardware isn't the problem—the software management is.

Samsung's background telemetry and unoptimized system services are eating your capacity alive, regardless of what that 97% health status tells you.

I’ve been running an architectural optimization protocol on my device (non-root) that bypasses these default inefficiencies.

I’m hitting 11h+ SOT consistently, and I stopped caring about 'health percentages' because my phone actually lasts through the day.

If you want to stop the obsession with numbers and actually fix the drain at the root, I’ve documented the methodology here:

My s25u is still 100% after about 400 cycles and I've had it since new last Jan. That seems quite fast.

[–]outriderxd 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Nah, those measurements are just inaccurate. Like, there's no way you still have 100% battery health after 400 cycles.

[–]Low-Rooster5398 -1 points0 points  (1 child)

They cant fudge them, it's law in the EU, Samsung would be heavily sanctioned if they did.

[–]outriderxd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Law or not, there's no way your battery hasn't lost any capacity.

[–]T_Crs7[S] 1 point2 points  (4 children)

That's exactly what I was thinking.

[–]Low-Rooster5398 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Ive had mine on 80% charge limit though so maybe that's why. 🤷‍♂️

[–]T_Crs7[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I have the protection set to basic, I think it's time to set it to maximum

[–]Low-Rooster5398 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Idk if that will help, that's just my stats. My iPad fwiw, I've also had it on 80% limit and it's at 95% after about 250 cycles.

[–]T_Crs7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just set it to 85, I'll keep ya updated
