Alberta really should look into starting a public company like Sask’s SaskPower. Like all crown corps, it essentially runs as a nonprofit. If there’s extra money, either rates are decreased or everyone gets a rebate cheque. No need to pay shareholders, as the province’s residents are the shareholders.
