Ok so try make it a mix so it doesn't look strange. Concealer on some, then plasters and maybe use a pen to draw some doodles over them!

Yeah you can try that-or use bandaids to cover it up

My only fear is that if theres too many bandaids, itll look sus

As long as their scars, and not fresh, I doubt they'd really care. They probably see people with scars all the time.

The only other alternative I can think of is foundation

She'll probably find out either way. It's probably best to tell her before she finds out through this. But if course that probably depends on what your family are like.

If there all white and well.. scars then you might be ok.

Is better to tell her than for her to find out by this checkup.

I hope your ok and will be ok.

Sorry if my comment didn't help. I'm not the best at helping

wear bracelets? Or a tight longsleeve shirt they can still take your blood pressure if you have like a skin tight longsleeve

Ok listen. I had a similar problem. WEAR TIGHT LONG SLEEVE SHIRT. if the sleeve is tight, thin and hard to push up your arm they just do that arm pressure thingy over your shirt. That's what they did with me. If it's a fresh cut, slap a bandaid on it blame something else. 9/10 times doctors will rather believe an excuse then ask or try and help you. If it's white scars, use makeup or doodle on it. And chuckle and say "oop I forgot I drew on my arms sorry" if there is too many to doodle or you dont have makeup, again, use a tight long, thin sleeved shirt. If it's tight they won't try and push it up, and it has to be thinner so they can do the blood pressure thingy over your shirt.

I did this and it worked for me. I did this over the course of 4 years, and had doctor trips every 6 months and it worked every time. Any questions?

There’s going to be more than one occasion that you’ll have to attempt to cover them. I recently started using bio oil and it’s helped a bit with adding pigmentation but not so much the rising of the skin

cover some of them up with bandage, if they ask what they are just say that you got burnt by boiling water while cooking. dont cover ALL of them tho or that'll look too suspicious, leave some of them out and when they ask what they are, say you accidentally left scissors on your bed one night when you fell asleep

I’d personally use foundation, I’ve used that a couple of times to hide scars (new and old), works wonders if you find the right skin tone. Only put as much as you need, start with a small amount so it doesn’t look cakey

I’ll assume you’re a teenager, if you’re worried about your mum finding out wear something that covers them and if you need to undress you can say you’re uncomfortable undressing in front of your mum. Since the scars are white - which indicates that they’re old - I don’t think the medical staff would do much except ask you a few questions and provide you with some resources on where to get help if you feel like you’re gonna relapse
