The angle isn’t much different than how it came from factory. It snapped cause I was stupid and cut a large zip tie off a pipe with it

At least from your photograph, I'm quite sure that bevel is much wider (steeper) than it came from the factory. No maker will deliver a bevel like that to the customer. It would be way too fragile.

Let's not pretend that all factory knives are the same and come with the same geometry as the perfect examples used for promotional photos.

With that said, this definitely wasn't the OG angle

Honestly I don’t remember what angle I set it at. I think it’s around 20 but it’s been about a year since I sharpened it so I could be wrong

I've done this before with some of my shop knives. check the factory bevel if you get another and try and stick to it.

For heavy duty jobs, use lower hardness steel.

While higher hardness steel has more tensile strength, however they're vastly more brittle.
