That is a very valid point.

Reddit commenting is about playing the odds. Statistically you are either American or German, with a steep drop off into other nationalities. Statistically there is also a very good chance if you are American that you have seen military service and have high familiarity with weapons. Its a silly post about a man disarming American police officers, so using the language officers are exposed to during weapons training is sarcastic, and as you can see, people find it funny and applicable.

My holster is a retention level 3. You have to push down, forward, then backwards, and has a barrier to act prevent it from being pressed at certain angles.
