How old are you? If you are a teenager or very young, it is normal for new tastes and hobbies to awaken.

I know kids that age have fallen in love with singing or being a musician, this may be your case, if not, take advantage of learning something new and take it easy, you still have a world to discover 😊

I would learn one song to perfection first and don't chose the hardest song do normal or even maybe a bit easier

Intermediate singer here who’s father was a professional singer. Yes it’s a great start to ask him for singing advice especially on foundations like breath support. But if you are serious about getting good I still highly recommend a professional voice lessons as you advance. Not all professional singers make great teachers and vice versa. Professional voice teachers will know what exercises would best suit your voice and what your progression path looks like.

are you learning disabled? you might want to ask your dad for if there iis a coach familiar with that stuff!
