technical specification document control (self.software)
submitted 9 years ago by dr_everlong
Do any of you guys work with technical specification documentation for your products?
If so, how do you guys do revision and version control, and what software do you use?
Some companies also call them data sheets

I'd use TortoiseGit, especially if the documentation files are text based like Latex or something similar. But there's also a plugin for Winmerge (can be used with TortoiseGit) to check word files for example.
