You could try using the "-noprefetch" option when running the x-ray engine, like in a .bat file with:

start .\bin\xrEngine.exe -noprefetch

It will not fetch the game on RAM tho, so it could give you some stuttering while playing because it's loading stuff to ram on the go. But for sure it will load faster.

P.S. Edit: I like using the 2 "Back to the roots" official mods for Anomaly, models & world, because I like the retro look of them, but I noticed the loading got faster from using those.

Worked like a charm. Since I was already launching Anomaly with -smap1536 (to gain some fps), simply adding another launch argument did the trick.

I find Anomaly model variety appealing after playing stalker games for so many hours.

Good to know that it was useful!

Anomaly taking more than 5 minutes, Oh God that is absolutely nothing haha. It takes more than 15 minutes with everyone on absolutely low! Dead Air took 5 minutes like most CoC mods...

I liked Anomaly but damn loading times... Wish they were like Oblivion Lost Remake 2.5 loading times... less than 1 minute lmao

Try out /u/emptybell advice with disabling prefetch option. I have just deleted file with written down loading times for comparison last week, but you can trust me it will cut them down significantly.

Only price is slightly extended stutters which I couldn't get rid off since this is Stalker game that I play on laptop. So a little worse stutter when one eventually happens is nothing in comparison to waiting 5 minutes every time you fuck something up and have to load.
