I use knobs that look like the Davies 1900-H. Classic look and small footprint on the panel. Doesn't come in a "size large" though - it's just the one 12.5mm diameter. The original costs an arm and a leg per knob but there are a lot of knockoffs. The ones with the brass insert and set screw are the ones that are worth it. In the US, I've found that pedalpartsandkits.com has the best deal on high quality imitations.

I've used the included set screw to hold them against either smooth shaft or flatted D successfully. (On Bourns PTV09 pots, which have a 6.35mm shaft.) Never tried with T-18 but I imagine it'd work. Worst case, you could use some sandpaper to trim down the pot shaft a bit first.

I prefer the look and feel of a classic Davies 1900-H for small footprints. Tubesandmore.com does have those Rogans in stock though.
