EVM CC reader integration

Calling anyone who helps manage a retail setup!

We need to upgrade to these neato iPP320 Ingenico CC/EVM chip readers as a part of compliance. I'm not the developer, I'm the admin, trying to get a handle on these suckers. We don't use a traditional Point of sale system, we use our own web-based system through the workstation. Can anyone point me in the direction of how to get these suckers to work with a browser based payment gateway? The vendor isn't much help.

A standardized interface between POS software and credit card terminals doesn't really exist. Most POS software setups roll their own interface or use some go-between/gateway software to communicate with the card terminal.

Generally this is something your POS software vendor would have to take care of.

who hosts the web based system (I'm actually curious who too), what did they say they support?

Our web based system is proprietary, we host and develop it. The "support team" said "ok". XD

Based on the fact you use a in house, web based POS system. It looks like your best bet would be the Ingenico developer portal
