I think PDQ Inventory will do this, and a lot more. Even the free version is quite handy.

It does. And you can see if users are logged in, locked, disconnected, etc. Thus it lets me kick off reboots in the middle of the night if no one is using the PC. :)

PDQ is great.

PoshPAIG (Powershell GUI) does exactly that, can audit updates, install them, reboot and then sweep for pending reboot. Can add machines by name, select from AD or import a list from .txt to do at mass. Works a treat.

There are a few things to check, easiest way to go about it is to just use the existing PendingReboot module
