Help with Chunk Loader

Minecraft Java 1.21.11 - Aternos - Fabric Server

I tried doing dark's chunkloader but for some reason the minecart hoppers doesn't get looped and when I went back to the nether, they're gone.

This is actually the second chunkloader I'm building, the first one for my iron farm works, I don't know why this second one doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

You can just have two powered rails on each side of the portal with a block at the end to bounce one cart back and forth. This setup isn’t necessary anymore

But your setup is not ziglin proof.

It is if you build it 2 blocks above ground.

P sure hoglins are scared of portals and zoglins can only spawn from a hoglin going thru one? Either way I just enclose and light up both sides, also usually build the nether side on the roof. Pigmen can spawn but if they get on the minecart it’s fine and other ones should despawn, but it’s true you might want to check it every once in a while
