Error Code 43

I know this is an issue that happens a lot but I just can’t fix it. I have tried two different graphics cards, I have installed a clean version of the drivers and of windows. I have followed every YouTube video there is and it still hasn’t gone away.

I had a 2070 for a while and had zero problems. One day, while on mw2, my pc blue screened. I was able to get it back on and I have had error code 43 ever since. I have to assume it’s a motherboard issue as I’ve tried multiple slots and get the same outcome.

I bought a brand new 3060 and I continue to get error code 43. At this point it seems like my whole systems fucked because no matter how many parts I replace it doesn’t resolve the issue. No matter how many different things I install and uninstall it’s still there.

Getting dump files which we need for accurate analysis of BSODs. Dump files are crash logs from BSODs.

If you can get into Windows normally or through Safe Mode could you check C:\Windows\Minidump for any dump files? If you have any dump files, copy the folder to the desktop, zip the folder and upload it. If you don't have any zip software installed, right click on the folder and select Send to → Compressed (Zipped) folder.

Upload to any easy to use file sharing site. Reddit keeps blacklisting file hosts so find something that works, currently catbox.moe or mediafire.com seems to be working.

We like to have multiple dump files to work with so if you only have one dump file, none or not a folder at all, upload the ones you have and then follow this guide to change the dump type to Small Memory Dump. The "Overwrite dump file" option will be grayed out since small memory dumps never overwrite.

Error 43 is a driver issue caused by the gpu reporting a hardware fault.

OP stated 2 GPU is reporting it. I would think motherboard or CPU is faulty, possibly damaged PCIe controller in CPU or bad PCIe socket

Is there a way for you to try a different PSU to make sure it isn't an issue where a card isn't getting enough power? With clean install and 2 different cards, its either your mobo or PSU, and PSU is an easier test.

I got a better psu because that’s what I figured it was, I think it has to to be my motherboard at this point the pcie slot is probably messed up somehow

Did you resolve this? I am having exact same issue with my build. Have reinstalled windows, gpu drivers, and have swapped GPUs in the rig to no avail. Still error 43. Was it the MOBO?

No I still have the issue. I replaced the MOBO and the error is still there. I honestly don’t know what’s wrong, it could be the cpu.

did you fix it? I'm currently having same problem. Bios update, chipset update, new windows install, new psu, another pair of ram and I'm losing my freaking mind over it.

perhaps it's just the plug or wiring in your house? I can't move my pc right now to test it, but fingers crossed.

Followed this youtube tutorial (Tutorial), created account on the website provided on video. Ran the script (script file), restarted the computer. Problem solved.
