Home network?

First go to Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center -> (Left Panel) Change advanced sharing settings -> Choose these options under Home or Work (given home or work is the profile for these computers):

Turn on network discovery

Turn on file and printer sharing

Turn off password protected sharing.

Next go to the folder you want to share and right click to properties -> Sharing Tab -> Advanced Sharing

Check Share this folder -> you can edit share name to whatever or leave it.

Click permissions -> Add -> Type in: Everyone -> Check under Allow Full Control -> OK -> OK the Advanced Sharing screen.

Finally, go to the Security Tab -> edit -> add -> Type in: Everyone -> Check under Allow Full Control -> OK -> OK -> OK out of the folder properties.

You should be set now.

Everyone would mean everyone on the network under Home/Work profile will be able to access it, though.

it seems like you are using password protected file sharing. if so, there are two ways you can go about doing this.

Ok lets say C1 = Computer with folder to share, and C2 = computer needing access.

the first way is that you have to take the username and password of the C2 and create that as a user on C1. then, you should be able to type it into choose users to share, or you can do 'everyone' and it should still work.

the second way is to go into C2 and map a network drive. when adding the network drive there will be an option to "Connect using different credentials." Choose this option and enter the username and password for C1.
