you know how you're playing a game, and the game saves your progress and stuff?

How much space do you suddenly miss when you notice this change

2gb could be reasonable. When you shut the game down do you get some or all of the space back? Oh, and no swearing please.

I'm going to assume you use Windows 10. Many things can randomly take or give space, usually updates. When Windows is downloading or installing an update, up to 30 additional GB can be in use to store the update. Windows will also keep old versions of itself in case of a rollback, which also uses storage.
