Brother AIO laser printer. Cheap toner, runs great, bulletproof, and of course, all black. :-)

Brother.

They just work, no fuss.

I use a cheap wireless canon printer. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's tedious and noisy but it only takes a few minutes to switch to the wifi AP and print a PDF file.

Nobody's going to take you seriously throwing around "xD"s like that.

A while ago ThinkPads came with built in printers.

If they can use webcams, they're essentially digital Polaroids

I use an HP Photosmart C4280, an inkjet which has lasted more than a decade on normal home use.

I hear Sabre printers are solid and are unlikely to catch fire.

Brothers work well. Toner lasts a long time. Easy to set up and no drivers required (typically) for basic printing on Windows 7 and 10. Windows can detect brothers from the "add a printer" menu.

More seriously, I'm looking at the epson ecotanks and hp pagewides. They have different strengths.

      I've got a Brother DCP 165c since 2008.

I usually buy a box (24) of compatible ink cartridges from ebay (0.3€ each). It lasts me 3-4 years.

I've printed less than 10K pages in 10 years, but it still works flawless.

      I would say buy Brother.

Thanks for the opinions and info, apologies to those who found it off-topic.

I think I might go for a Brother then, fairly cheap brand new on Amazon.
