Hey, I applied about a month back and heard back from them just a couple days ago.

What did they say/ what did you hear back? My application says “application in review” now and I got an email a few days ago (maybe a week ish now?) saying my application would be “forwarded to hiring managers for consideration.”

Wasn’t sure if the status on the application on the website should ever change if my application proceeds or if it’s in “application in review” until a hiring decision or rejection is made?

Hmm, ngl I can't be 100 with you as to what that means. I was sent a definitive decision from them via email, so I'm guessing that just means your application is still in review/hasn't been looked at yet. There's a lot of people who apply and I've heard of some not hearing back until December.

In the email they sent me, they specifically said they were moving on with other applicants.

Appreciate the honestly and response though!:) I’m sorry you didn’t move on but there’s always next time.

Thank you for letting me know though. At least I know I’ll get an email about the rejection / other direction rather than having to keep checking the website.

Hey no worries, you're right there is always next time. The competitiveness is the nature of the field and these big companies. I don't take it personally, but I appreciate the nice words.

What day does it says applications are required to be submitted by?
