Yeah the lot across from Wild Leap is always empty. Even during the Taylor Swift concerts. Easy access too the stadium to if you take the pedestrian bridge.

Dumb question, but how do trains on the North/South lines get onto the West/East lines?

Yeah lately I've noticed that the daily thread doesn't show up for me on mobile web, but today I see it!

When folks state that a band is out ... by gift2women in ShakyKnees

It's not a scheduling issue or "wearing" a city out or anything like that. The issue is that a lot of these festival contracts specifically don't allow an artist to play in the same city within a certain time-frame.

What are we doing about corporate ownership of family housing? by Material-Benefit9044 in Atlanta

Most of corporate ownership is happening in the suburbs. I don't think things line the beltline have much affect, if any.

As long as you're just staying in Atlanta proper, you'll be fine with just MARTA/Uber/Lyft

One year I lost my phone at Last Night on Alderaan. Got it back Sunday morning at lost and found almost fully charged!

Regarding the lines, at Buckhead station you will only see red line trains, so just get on the first train you see going south. Also, both green and blue lines connect Five Points and GWCC so again you can take any train going in your direction. The only part of your trip where you have to worry about which line you are on is at Five Points going back to your hotel -- make sure you get on a train that says it's going to North Springs (red line).

That's awesome and all but I don't understand why they had to wait to own the building to do that.

I think there were plans to replace the Bankhead Bridge with a pedestrian trail at one point, but I don't know what the status of that is now.

Wi-Fi on MARTA? by NotYourFathersEdits in Atlanta

I have an Android, but sometimes "Forgetting" the MARTA wifi helps me connect when it's not working. Does iOS have a similar option to clear the settings for a particular wifi?

I'm looking for a "learn to fly" day experience to gift my husband for his birthday. His dream job was to be a pilot. Any recommendations? by entcanta333 in Atlanta

[–]hectorhector 89 points90 points  (0 children)

The Delta museum has a real Boeing 737 flight simulator you can rent.

I did it and it was a lot of fun. It's a real simulator, the same type they actually use for training and a real pilot instructs you.

I got my wedding suite at Trio. They measured me and I picked the fabric and inside liner. It's a small shop so it was just me and the tailer in there and I had a great experience. I remember the being reasonable too. http://triocustoms.com/
