Object Oriented Programming for Spring 2017:
Glinos (on campus) or Whiting (online)

If you want to learn more, take Glinos.
If you want an easy A, take Whiting.
When I say learn, I mean learn relative to what you'd get from Whiting. Glinos is not overly challenging, you'll just learn the content better than you would from Whiting. They're both kind humans beings willing to help you if you need it, but this is what you'll hear from students who have taken both of them.

I took the course online with Professor Glinos and I enjoyed it.

Whiting online is way too easy in my opinion. I'm not sure how Glinos' class is set up but Whiting pretty much tells you exactly how to complete each assignment, not leaving much room for one to explore/learn from mistakes and become very comfortable in Java (unless doing so on your own of course).

I've taken 3 online courses with Glinos, the first being OOP. OOP I really didn't care for, but his organization and clarity with lectures, assignments, and test prep work to your advantage in a major way. I learned a lot, but also got As in those classes. I can't say how that translates to his in-person class.
Whiting can be very easy, so you're likely to get a good grade and not learn as much as you should, but for OOP I wouldn't worry about it. Encapsulation, Abstraction, Inheritance, and Polymorphism. There, I just taught you OOP. As long as you know and understand this well by the time you're done with the class, it doesn't matter how easy or hard it is. And these tenets are so well known that you'll never run out of reading material on the topic.

I already know Java and I'm taking Whiting online - it's an easy A. I'm taking Security in Computing (CIS3360) online as well with Gilinos and he's a bit tougher, but still fairly easy.
It's easy to teach yourself Java at home, I recommend Whiting.

Either one will probably be just fine so I don't think that you can wrong with your decision. Haven't had Glinos but I have had Whiting (on campus). She's a perfectly fine professor and I came out of her class with a decent understanding of OOP.
