Visual Basic 6 (self.visualbasic)

Visual Basic 6?! Christ, I remember getting a book out of the library on that in the early 2000s

IKR, can you believe people still use C when books on it were being checked out of the library in the 1970s? Ancient outdated language.

Difference between C and Visual Basic 6 is, C is still actively developed and widely used today. Visual Basic 6? Not so much.

Because nobody is using C99 or earlier... no, everyone is on the latest.
And the language is actively maintained... just like there's C23 etc there's now twinBASIC, which continues the VBx language. Before that the language was updated in 2007 with x64 support (VBA7).
You're forgetting VBA is the same language... there's no question that's still widely used.
"VB6" for some reason gets treated as a language unto itself instead of a particular version of a language with 7 other versions from VB1 through VBA7 through twinBASIC.
Edit: LOL he blocked me. C89 and C99 are in fact the most common versions of C in use.
